BDx Indonesia and APJII Renew Partnership to Expand Indonesia Internet Exchange Connectivity Across Greater Jakarta
Jakarta, 9 September 2026 – BDx Data Centers (BDx) has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Indonesia Internet Service Providers (APJII), continuing the two organisations’ work to expand Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) connectivity across Greater Jakarta.
The renewed collaboration is designed to:
- Improve routing efficiency across Indonesian networks, enabling lower-latency connectivity.
- Expand interconnection and peering options for service providers and enterprises.
- Strengthen the resilience of Indonesia’s national digital infrastructure.
Together, these outcomes support the connectivity demands of cloud, AI, and other high-bandwidth applications, which increasingly depend on dense, low-latency traffic exchange within the country. By combining APJII’s internet ecosystem with BDx Indonesia’s interconnected, AI-ready data center platform, the partnership advances a more resilient and scalable digital future for Indonesia.

BDx and APJII first partnered in January 2025, when APJII launched a new IIX node at BDx Indonesia’s CGK3A campus in South Jakarta, establishing the site as a hub for internet traffic exchange in Greater Jakarta. CGK3A is purpose-built for AI inferencing and high-density, liquid-cooled compute, making it a natural aggregation point for the traffic patterns AI and cloud workloads generate. Alongside the CGK4 AI Campus in Jatiluhur and CGK5 in Suryacipta, it anchors BDx’s platform for Indonesia’s sovereign AI and digital economy infrastructure.
