The Indonesia data center market was worth $1.67 billion USD in 2021, and it is expected to grow to $3.43 billion by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of more than 13%. To align with the market’s needs and current projected growth trajectory, BDx along with Indonesian giants, Indosat & Lintasarta have established a Joint Venture Company (JVCo), leveraging each company’s strengths and establishing Indonesia’s largest data center and cloud player.
This partnership between Indonesian Telecom giants, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchinson (IOH) and Lintasarta, and pan-Asian data center cluster, BDx, is a unique initiative aimed at delivering next-gen data center and cloud services to Hyperscalers and Enterprises in Indonesia. The JVCo now operates four data centers previous wholly owned and operated by IOH and Lintasarta, located at key sites in and around Jakarta. Through this joint venture partnership, the new company is also set to develop and modernize facilities across Indonesia with best-in-class operations. The company is driven by local talent and committed to the country’s dream of digitally transforming the nation.
