Overview
The purpose of this role is to develop, manage and grow BDX’s portfolio of Data Center services globally. You will define and execute the strategy to drive growth and deliver business targets. You will also work closely with the key teams in Asia and EMEA to identify growth drivers and opportunities, and develop products and services to meet customers’ needs.
You must have a good knowledge of the ICT and data center market and solid experience in product management. You must possess strong capability to translate customer/market requirements and develop them into BDX services. You must have an excellent proven “Strategy-to-Execution” track record, where you continue to develop/innovate the product to drive the growth of the business. This role will be based in Singapore, Hong Kong or China
Requirement
- Minimum 8 years of Product Management experience in IT or Telecommunication
- High energy, enthusiasm, and relentless drive for results
- Superior financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Financial knowledge to build business cases
- Technical knowledge of data communications and other technologies relevant to data centers
- Significant experience of data center technology and relevant supplier technology
- Good knowledge of data center market in Asia, in particular Singapore, Hong Kong and China, including competitors, analyst influence, venture capitalist, supply chain of system integrators, distributors and partners
- Experience delivering significant revenue growth from a product perspective
- Minimally degree in IT or business
- Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Speaks fluent English and Mandarin
Responsibility
- Define and execute the strategy of Data Center portfolio
- Define product road map, market leading features, functions & user experience
- Define compelling product propositions for both retail and wholesale segments
- Define channel strategy
- Develop pricing strategy, price & cost structure
- Develop go-to-market strategies
- Translate customer/market requirements into opportunities
- Develop benchmark against competitors’ product offerings, features and pricing to ensure market competitiveness
- Evaluate leading technology trends through closes collaboration with suppliers and partners
- Evaluate strategic partnerships with market leaders in the industry
- Advise key strategy teams on organic and inorganic investment opportunities
- Build business cases to evaluate investment opportunities based on thorough benefit and cost analysis
- Lead launch management of new product launches, and work with internal & external subject matter experts to develop the business requirement documents, the business cases, the marketing collaterals & pricing
- Fully responsible for the P&L of the portfolio
- Drive revenue growth through pipeline management
- Define sales engagement model and qualification criteria, and manage lead generation
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, including activities from pre-sales engagement to post-sales operational and assurance support
- Manage product documentation & user training
- Drive product innovation and enhancement
